Ron Herberholz

Deacon Ronald Herberholz was ordained as a Deacon at Beloit First Southern Baptist Church on December 15th, 1996. Deacon Herberholz was called to be a Deacon at Anchor Bible Baptist Church on February 23, 2020. Deacon Herberholz is a veteran of the United States Navy.

Ron served 2 tours, back to back, as a River Rat, in the US Navy in Vietnam from 1967 to 1971. He was led to the Lord and saved, by Pastor & mentor, Pastor Gerald Colbert in Springfield, Colorado in September 1978. Ron has a Bachlors Degree in Special Education, with a minor in History from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley & a Masters Degree in Special Education, with an emphasis on Special Education Instruction & Family Counseling, with an Assistant Associate of Instruction for Special Education of Teachers from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley. While working for the University of Kansas in 1985, he was instrumental in writing Grant & funding bills for Home bound special education programs. Ron was recruited by the State of Kansas 1985 to set up Special Education programs throughout the state. He also served as Assistant Associate Instructor at the University of Kansas 1985 through 1989.
